Muhammad Adib, the injured EMRS personnel

Kuala Lumpur, 28 November 2018: A new video has emerged showing a fire engine reversing into an EMRS vehicle purportedly said to be the one with Muhammad Adib inside.

The video is being shared with various media outlets including Newstream Asia to quash claims that Adib, 24 who is a member of the Fire and Rescue Department’s Emergency Medical Rescue Service team was pulled out of an EMRS vehicle at the Sri Maha Mariamman Devasthanam temple at USJ25 and assaulted by a group of protesters.

He suffered multiple broken ribs and internal injuries as a result. Adib is showing signs of recovery following treatment at the National Heart Institute (IJN) after being transferred from Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC) yesterday.

In another video, a group of men are seen carrying Adib to seek medical treatment. They are seen calming him down and looking for vehicles to send him to the hospital.
